A word from our participants:

“I have thoroughly enjoyed the programme and have benefitted a great deal physically and mentally. I enjoy the camaraderie that we have built up as a supportive group. If I didn’t continue to attend, there would be a big hole in my support network and friendship group that could not be filled elsewhere.”

“The CARE sessions have helped me rehabilitate at the end of my cancer treatment. I felt like I had lost control of my body, but after six months with the programme, I feel much more in control and a lot stronger. The group has helped me emotionally, everybody understands, and it means a lot to me.”

“It has really improved my mobility, strength, coordination, balance, stamina, and wellbeing. In addition to these, being with fellow cancer sufferers has provided a forum where I can talk to likeminded people who understand what I have been through and how I feel.”
