Notts County Foundation is delighted to announce an exciting e-bike pilot with Nottinghamshire-based Ottr.
Ottr is a venture capitalist-backed start-up, focussing on providing sustainable B2B and B2C travel options for the future. Offering both e-bikes and e-scooters, Ottr vehicles can be seamlessly integrated into organisation’s ecosystems through Ottr’s complete end-to-end micro-mobility management service, encompassing all areas – from supply and installation to training and maintenance, being overseen by Ottr’s environmentally-conscious team.
Sam Crawford, chief finance officer at Notts County Foundation, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Ottr on this exciting pilot scheme. Being a charity that focusses on improving the lives of local people through increased levels of physical activity, providing members of staff with the opportunity to cycle to and from work is something that we are really looking forward to being able to offer. What’s more, we are proud to be able to play a small part in supporting Ottr’s mission to provide greener means of transport throughout our local area.”
The pilot will see Ottr provide Notts County Foundation with 10 of its e-bikes, allowing and encouraging members of staff to use alternative, more environmentally friendly modes of transport on a daily basis. The week-long trial takes place prior to Ottr’s new e-bike subscription service, which will be available in Nottingham from August 2022, and will incorporate several fringe benefits for individuals and businesses, including a service and maintenance plan and comprehensive insurance.
