Notts County Foundation Joins Tough To Talk’s Movember Mission

In a powerful collaboration aimed at championing men’s mental health, Notts County Foundation has partnered with Tough To Talk for their Movember Mission throughout November. This dynamic initiative seeks to raise both funds and awareness, fostering a supportive community for men facing mental health challenges.

  • Foundation participants engaging in mental health work
  • Moustache galore at Meadow Lane
  • Over £21,000 raised of £30,000 target

Tough To Talk is a men’s mental health charity that specialises in breaking down the barriers surrounding mental health conversations. Their commitment to providing a safe space for men to share their struggles aligns perfectly with the goals of Movember — a global movement that challenges men to grow Moustaches during November to spark conversations and raise funds for men’s health issues, including mental health.

Movember is more than just a month of growing facial hair; it’s a movement that encourages men to talk about their mental health, promoting openness and destigmatising the challenges many face. By teaming up with Tough To Talk, Notts County Foundation is taking a proactive stance in supporting men’s mental well-being. It also gives us an opportunity to shout about our men’s mental health programme – Added Time. Added Time combines physical activity with opportunities for men to talk about wellbeing, providing a safe space on Tuesday evenings at Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre.
