Notts County Foundation will bring communities together once again this Ramadan as they host their third Open Iftar at Meadow Lane Stadium.

Taking place on Wednesday 4th March 2026, from 4:30pm, the event is being delivered in partnership with humanitarian charity Mercy For All, continuing a growing tradition of celebrating unity, understanding, and community spirit in Nottingham.

This year’s Open Iftar also marks a new partnership between Notts County Foundation and Mercy For All, built on a shared commitment to compassion, inclusion, and supporting communities both locally and globally. The collaboration reflects the organisations’ aligned values of bringing people together and creating meaningful opportunities for connection and understanding.

Open to people of all backgrounds, faiths, and generations, the evening will provide an opportunity for guests to break the fast together, share experiences, and learn more about the significance of Ramadan in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

“Our Open Iftar events are about bringing people together, fostering understanding, and celebrating the diversity of our community. We are proud to work alongside Mercy For All to create a space where everyone feels welcome at Meadow Lane.”  – Vicky Spargo, Deputy Sport and Inclusion Manager

Food for the evening will be generously provided by Saracens, adding to another memorable and meaningful community occasion.

Notts County Foundation, the official charity of Notts County Football Club, has been supporting community wellbeing since 1989 through programmes spanning sport, health, inclusion, and education. Their work continues to positively impact thousands of individuals across Nottinghamshire.

Mercy For All, a registered UK charity, delivers humanitarian support for vulnerable communities worldwide, assisting orphans, widows, and refugees through initiatives including food security, education, rehabilitation, and psychological support.

While admission to the Open Iftar is free, attendees will be invited to support the work of both charities through optional donations. QR codes will be available on tables throughout the evening for those who wish to contribute.

The event is open to families, individuals, and first-time attendees, with organisers encouraging anyone interested in experiencing the spirit of Ramadan to attend.
