What is the Kick Start Scheme?

The Kickstart Scheme is open to people that are aged 16-24 that are currently claiming Universal Credit and are at risk of long-term unemployment. If this sounds like you, talk to your Work Coach about our below Kickstart vacancies and see if it could be right for you.

Length:

6 Months, but with the potential to obtain employment after the 6 months period

Age Restrictions:

16 – 24 years old

Current Vacancies

  • Centre Assistant:- This is a supporting role and you will be working closely with the rest of The Portland Centre Staff. You will be supporting the team with documentation, data analysis, market knowledge and the implementation of sector specific campaigns.
  • Assistant Coach:- To assist and deliver coaching sessions that are participant-centered, structured, progressive, fun and of a high quality.
  • Project Assistant:- This is a supporting role and you will be working closely with the rest of the Sport and Inclusion Team. You will be supporting the Sport and Inclusion Manager with documentation, data analysis, data imputing, market knowledge and the implementation of sector specific campaigns.
  • Marketing and Events Assistant:- Assisting with and help organising a high number of events, ranging from birthday events to corporate events, you will also work with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator to promote events across all social media platforms.
